From Access to Completion: Scaling Higher Ed SUCCESS programs in MA
We are pleased to invite you to an upcoming legislative briefing that we are co-hosting on November 6,on the SUCCESS program (Supporting Urgent Community College Equity through Student Services)—a transformative initiative aimed at closing persistent college completion gaps across Massachusetts.
While Massachusetts has made significant strides in recent years to expand college access through generous financial aid programs, a pressing challenge remains: too many students begin their journey at public colleges and universities but never reach the finish line with a degree. The SUCCESS program was designed to change that trajectory; however, it currently reaches only a fraction of eligible students.
The briefing, organized by Hildreth Institute & EdTrust in Massachusetts and sponsored by Senator Jo Comerford and Representative Dave Rogers, will provide an opportunity to learn more about the measurable impact and long-term potential of the SUCCESS program in advancing community college completion across Massachusetts. Featuring remarks from Dr. Noe Ortega, Massachusetts Commissioner of Higher Education and others, the briefing will highlight new research on the current SUCCESS model and include a dynamic panel discussion with student and institutional voices.
We look forward to seeing you on November 6! Please register here!
